AFME recommends setting up taskforce to study moving to T+1 settlements

In a paper published on September 21, the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) strongly recommended that an industry task force should be set-up to investigate the benefits and challenges of moving to one day or T+1 settlements. Currently, most European markets settle T+2.
