Email News Service April 2011: G20’s Stability Board yet to agree on SIFI numbers

ROME, April 5 (Global Risk Regulator) - Global regulators have yet to agree how many of the world’s top banks could face extra capital requirements because of their size despite a looming November deadline.

No decision has been made on how many global systemically important financial institutions (G-SIFIs) there will be, Financial Stability Board (FSB) chairman Mario Draghi said today in Rome.
